Phew... I'm home.Yeah, right.
It wasn't hard for me to find my way to the Latimir Apartments, thanks to this map.
...The only reason why it took such a long time is because I ended up getting chased by one of those damn undead dogs at almost every turn. One of them actually managed to get a bite in on the shin of my right leg.Shit. This never would have happened if only I could transform my body. Now one of my pant legs is ripped from the teeth marks, and the skin near where I got bitten is sore and itchy. ...I'd better not get an infection from this. That would be the last thing I'd need to add to an already long list of problems.
I've also been hearing a lot of talk about how the drinking water in the apartment buildings isn't safe anymore from this thing. What the hell is wrong with this place?
I was going to try drinking some water from the lake this morning, but then I thought I saw a mermaid there and decided that the hunger was starting to make me hallucinate. Suddenly it wasn't such a good idea anymore.
[He grunts, and there is a small thud as he lets his back fall against a wall and slowly slides down to sit.]
Heh. How stupid. In the end, I couldn't find Chrona after all... I hope he's okay.
Oi, if anyone sees a raggedy looking guy sleeping in the lobby of Latimir, try not to kick him on your way in. [He laughs weakly and then sighs.]

[Spoken as a whisper, which can be heard only if one were to pay close attention.] I doubt I'll be able to sleep any better in this dump than back at home... Well, here's to wishing, I guess.
