When human souls become evil, they have the potential of becoming Kishin. A being that has basically stopped being human before, and desires to throw the rest of the world into chaos...

Everyone from Shibusen has the duty of keeping those evil souls in check in order to prevent that from happening.

That sounds terrible. From the looks of it, we already have a couple here that've gone "evil." Could they become a Kishin too?

It's possible, but it's rare that anyone is able to go that far. In my world, we do everything we can to keep humans from turning into Kishin. ...as for ones here, there's no way for knowing for sure. Not unless it is as plain as day.

If that bookworm Maka were here, she'd probably be able to tell just by looking. She has the ability to percieve souls.

[Grumbles] Don't remind me... Unless a suckerpunch is enough to do anything, I'm afraid I'm pretty useless as I am now.

Transform? Ah, no... nothing like that. Sometimes they can look really freaky though.

Oi... If Maka heard you say that, then you'd probably give her ego an extra boost. As if it wasn't big enough already. Nn... But I guess it is kind of amazing. Not everyone can sense the presence of souls like that.

It's like a city out of a bad zombie flick, but other than that... I don't think this place is hell. Hell wouldn't be able to make me feel this comfortable.

As for what I think... Nnn... I think I'm feeling pretty screwed by not being able to transform into my scythe form. Other than that, this place is livable. All it does it make me feel eager to go back home and kick some ass with Maka again.
