9 Souls [Voice Post]
Aug. 1st, 2008 02:21 pmSo it's finally over, huh?
Everyone managed through it with only a few scrapes to show for it, but that bastard was finally able to be captured. That's cool... I don't think that it would have been possible without all that teamwork, and so I think that I gained some newfound respect for you. The name's Sokka, right?
Still... it sounds like nothing ever comes easy in this place. Dammit, what were you thinking...? You guys all sound surprised that Ness has changed like this, but I can tell you he might have known what he was getting into. He told me to look after his friend, Nill. ...I've been keeping up my end of the bargain, but I'm not going to stand idly by if he makes her worry on a day when she should be celebrating.
Come back, kid. Do it before I have to go over there and knock some sense into you myself.
Chrona's come back too. I should be relieved, but I'm not. From the sound of it, we're not completely out of the woods yet. ...and this is where I start asking for favors. If any of you happen to see him around, then just let me know. He's lost, and is unable to determine where he is. I don't think he can see right now...
The last place I remember bringing Ragnarok was the clinic. Its possible that he might still be at the high school. He's a stringy-looking kid with light, pinkish hair who is wearing a black robe. You'll know him when you see him.
Oi, were you able to find Linda? I want to know that she's doing all right, since the murder victims have finally started to appear at the hospital over the last few days.
Also, if you see her, then it wouldn't hurt to smile for once, you grumpy bastard. I'm getting tired of your stoneface.
---
I'm going to be taking off from Latimir in a few minutes to try to find Chrona in the city. Don't worry about me. I'll be careful, plus now I have a knife that I can use to fight against a few of those monsters.
If one of you three beat me to it, then let me know. I'm worried about him. It doesn't sound like the insanity is completely gone from his system, and given the time that he's from... I'm not too eager to see him make an enemy out of me again.
Aaah. That's right. I guess I should say something before I forget, huh? That wouldn't be very cool.
...Happy birthday, Nill and Ness.

Date: 2008-08-01 09:27 pm (UTC)Did you see them, Kadaj? The ghosts of the victims? They didn't come back like they were supposed to so easily, and I don't give a shit about the revivals here.
Death is still death. It won't hurt anyone any less, and if you could call that a human weakness, then I only think you're kidding yourself. Don't forget that your damn story keeps changing.
How can you be so sure? He slipped past your radar before.

Date: 2008-08-01 09:30 pm (UTC)I'm going to make a fort.

Date: 2008-08-01 09:36 pm (UTC)Don't screw around! I'm not telling you that you're wrong for believing in his ambition to find his Mother, but that isn't going to make me stop and turn a blind eye to what he's done.
It makes no guarantees that he will not stop at just killing those people, or even you, to get what he wants.
Besides, how do you know that it will end the way you want it to? Does Walter even know if all this blood on his hands will be worth something in the end?
[Voice]
Date: 2008-08-01 09:41 pm (UTC)But what if it does work...? If it does, that means he gets his Mother back, and doesn't kill again.
We wouldn't have to wait like this any longer.

Date: 2008-08-01 09:46 pm (UTC)Sorry, Kadaj, but I don't find the idea of innocent people getting slaughtered in cold blood to be very cool. Not by a long shot.
...and you don't even know. If it doesn't then what will you have left? What will he? There's no guarantees for life. That's why happy endings only exist in fairy tales.
I never liked waiting in the first place.
[Voice]
Date: 2008-08-01 09:49 pm (UTC)I doubt many of them are very innocent. Most of them are fighters, or annoying. It's not right...but a fighter knows what they're getting into.
They would come back. I don't even know what you're talking about, but he needs his Mother.
It would be wrong to kill him.
[Voice]
Date: 2008-08-01 09:54 pm (UTC)You're right. If they are willing to put their lives on the line, then it's their problem. But the ones left to clean up the mess won't be so cool about it.
I'm trying to say that you don't always get what you want. For all this bad shit that he's doing, Walter may never be able to get what wants. His Mother. It could just be a whole lot of killing for nothing.
Hmph. Believe what you want.
[Voice]
Date: 2008-08-01 10:00 pm (UTC)Then they should stand up more often so that we don't have to.
But it's still worth trying...isn't it? Azula thinks it is.
[Voice]
Date: 2008-08-01 10:20 pm (UTC)That's their choice to make, and we've made already made ours.
In case you haven't noticed, Azula also thinks that setting people on fire and torching buildings as a way to vent stress is a good idea.
[Voice]
Date: 2008-08-01 10:25 pm (UTC)Then they'll need to deal with their choice.
It is, isn't it?
