soul_dissonanceIt's kinda strange, isn't it? After all the craziness, it's finally started to become quiet around here. Well... for as much as the quiet will ever count for in a place like this.
Not sure whether to be thankful for it, or keep my fingers crossed. ...But after staying in bed with a cold for a whole week, I'm not going to suddenly decide to become cynical just because there isn't some serial killer or a kidnapper on the loose. Besides, are few of you guys are already doing that job well enough for me. Psst. Try harder next time, Reno.
This apartment is getting pretty crowded too. Even without Kid hanging around here. Oi, are you and Patty doing all right?
What do you think, Maka? Do you want to try to find another apartment in Latimir, or do you want to check out one of the other buildings for once? You can help us out too, Chrona, if you want.
It'll be just like living in our old dormitory back at Shibusen, except with more rust and grime and me without my bike. ...I guess beggars can't be choosers.
I doubt that you want to be hanging around here with old fart forever, right? It was bad enough when he was filling in for Sid, but now he thinks that he can loom over me like some kind of predator all the time. It's damn annoying.
It's not like he'll be helpless without us either. Being a Death Scythe has to count for something, and Dr. Stein will still be here to keep an eye on him.So have fun with that, old man.

Unless we ever find a way back home to Shibusen or convince the scientists to stop sending people to Discedo, I'm afraid that isn't much that can be done about it.
So... why worry? At least it's better than being alone, right?
