I don't like it.

The death count was starting to brush up against something just as awful from before. I'm not sure how many people can still remember it anymore. I can't say that I'd blame anyone for forgetting it (if they could), I didn't think I'd ever have to be reminded of it again...

I guess some of us can count the fact that our powers were turned back on before this all started going down as a mixed blessing. We probably saved ourselves from a greater slaughter that way. It doesn't count out the ones who were taken in by all this though. For the sake of the ones who are still mourning, try not to push any buttons for awhile. It's a pain in the ass. Even for what we know about death here, it still doesn't make it any less of a hot issue. It still scares the hell out of people.

Maka, let's double back one more time and see if there's anyone else who needs help getting out of the hospital still. The monsters seem to be the least of our problems now. Maybe.

Kid, Chrona, old man... How have you been holding up? I could use some small reassurance. It never hurt anyone before.

How did Latimir come out of this anyway? Sleeping on the floor of the bar these last few days has not been too kind.

Ah... yeah, they were swarming around here, but someone--I think, one of the scientists--hit its core, so they weren't replicating, or breeding, or... well, they weren't coming back.

I avoided getting too close to the exact crash location; the offices around it were fairly in fact, if not a bit shaken. I would've gone closer, but most of the metal is burning and it kept irrita--it's just rather hot over there.

So that's what happened... Either way-whether the scientists did it or someone else-, that seems to have been a smart move. I don't know how much more of this I could stand.
