1 Soul [Voice Post]

[In a matter of seconds, a new transmission pipes up on the communications network. It is silent for a few seconds, but in the background there is a sound of someone stirring, as if they are just waking up from a hard sleep. A pair of shoes grind against the floor as if there were some scattered pebbles underneath.]

Ow... My head.

Ugh... and what's that awful fishy smell...? ...Too bad that cat isn't around.

Nn...? What's that? [A few fingers brush up against the speaker of the device.]

A radio? The hell... Did someone just leave this there?

...There's a note. The World is ours, and there's nowhere left to run. [A pause, and then the note is crumpled up and thrown against the ground.]

If this is someone's idea of a sick joke, then it isn't funny. I must have gotten knocked out for my head to hurt this much...

Oi, Maka! If you're out there, then give me a shout! [Another pause.]

[Sigh] This is so not cool.

By the way... Do you know what is wrong with Chrona lately?

If it wasn't for the fact that Stein said that Maka was probably back in Shibusen, or the fact that that one lady gave me some information on this place, I would have thought I was already there.

Shinigami-sama's kid is here too, but he doesn't seem to remember me at all. Maybe I should try to cut his hair again.

Ah, yeah-- Weird thing, time doesn't seem to... work exactly right here? Chrona was brought here from shortly after your first fight with him and hasn't yet befriended any of you. Kid came here on his first day as a student at Shibusen.

What about you? What's the last significant thing that was going on before you got here?

Ah... yeah, that guy with the golem you were fighting there has been working with her. Stein and I came from a little later, but we'll worry about all that later.

I'm pretty sure there are still a fair number of open rooms in the apartments, but if you need to, you can come over here to Latimir 503 until you get stuff sorted out. It's just me and... well, Stein's sort of in and out. Chrona's two doors down.

And I see you've already been told that being a weapon here is useless thanks to these damn chips. It sucks. So... be careful, whatever you end up doing.
